These are the fastest 10 parkrun events, by female course record.
That doesn't really mean that these are the fastest courses, but they might just be. At the very least, they are all very impressive times.
Of course we do have some pretty famous running names in amongst these times (Lisa Dobriskey, Louise Damen, Helen Jenkins, Sandra Bowers, Lizzie Adams), the others may even be famous and I just don't know it! I suppose I should also say that Sandra Bowers' time was assisted by two Huskies.
Anyway, keeping all that in mind, these might just be the fastest 10 parkrun courses:

On this day in parkrun history
On this day in parkrun history, back on the 8th January 2011 (only two years ago), just 54 events were run with 5,738 finishers.
Last weekend, only two years later, 27,783 parkrunners finshed at 191 events.
That's a growth in the number of finishers of 384% in two years.

Killerton Mud
The final turn at Killerton parkrun. Been like this for months it seems. Not that I want to put anyone off, but this is what we contend with week after week... after all the rain we have had. And yes, one or two have slipped and fallen head first into it! BUT... it's just half-a-kilometre from the finish. Funny, our numbers seem to be climbing week after week. Us Devonians must be hardy! #mudlarks
