I really enjoy your stats of week posts. Do you retrieve them manually or do you have some clever script? Or do you just know your way around the official stats pages better than I do?!
ReplyDeleteAs a software engineer I am embarrassed to say that I do it all manually, visiting about 6 pages of the parkrun website. I have considered writing something to do it for me, but haven't yet.
DeleteThanks for letting me know you enjoy the weekly stats round-up posts.
I enjoy all the stats too ;-)
DeleteI think manual or semi automated is the best you can do. If you try to programmatically load the data (importhtml) you get a block message!
